Do you know what in the world does Acid Machine mean? As a matter of fact I do not know either. It just sounded to me a kind of neo-progressive, or something.
The story of Acid Machine began in the summer of 2008, although the plans for creating a neoclassical-progressive band were an old idea of mine.
After a break-up with my previous band, Winternity caused by months of musical idleness and internal conflicts, I finally decided to start this project. The first person I invited in Acid Machine was Kevi - a talented young guitarist, who sometimes attended the rehearsals of Winternity and also took care of band's equipment. We started working together intending to record a couple of instrumental songs without looking for other musicians. We planned to record the guitars and the bass, and to add software drums.
Soon we gave up the initial plans and posted an announcement that a band is looking for a bassist. In the mean time I contacted another brilliant musician - the drummer Andrey. A few days later, the announcement was replied by another guy with the same name - Andrey - an experienced bass guitarist and the core of Acid Machine was created.
We are located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
So, that's the story... By now.
